Quattro with real winter tires is great combination and that was only reason why mine was only one car that got out from our cul-de-sac.
All FWD passenger cars with summers got stuck,
All AWD SUV's with summers got stuck,
4x4 Ford full-size pick-up was able to reverse a bit but couldn't turn so we had to push him to move to go back home.
For mine no matter it came with Dunlop Grand Trek All-Seasons, I bought 2nd set with Bridgestone Blizzak's.
It was funny when I took mine out from garage, folks showeling their front yard looked at me with the look on their face "no no we don't want to push you too".
Once I passed them I got thumbs up and wife who took that shaky video told me 4x4 Ford owner 2 sons were pointing my tail the way "how the heck that tiny toy goes but ours doesn't".
Now I can say pennies well spent

So each of you who drive on snow, drive slow, slow down early and watch out others sliding around so you get home safe and sound.
Happy holidays
