OIL LEVELS
«

My TDI,SE Auto has done 11,500miles and the oil level,on the MMI,is reading the same as it did at 35miles i.e FULL. Seems that there is no dipstick etc. Does anybody know how i can manually check it, or does the Q5 sip oil..?

There is no oil dipstick on these cars and I don't see need for it as even my BMW bike haves electric oil level and doesn't have dipstick so welcome to modern days from stoneage
Consuming oil? It may not or it may little, my 3.2L V6 gasoline barely consumes oil between the service. One time I saw the indicator to drop one block just before the service and anther time I didn't so I'm fine with mine....
Though there is a way to install the A6 dipstick and some Q5 owners with oil vanishing paranoia / electric failure fears have installed to theirs.
